RUNI Ventures | Our Story | Backed by Reichman University

Prof. Uriel Reichman founded Reichman University (RUNI), the first non-profit private institution of higher education in Israel. From a small college of 240 students, it has grown under his leadership into one of Israel’s leading academic institutions.

Today, with 8,000 students, including 2,000 from 91 countries, Reichman University is a global hub for innovation, bringing together innovation labs, accelerators, and Israel’s only academic school dedicated to entrepreneurship.

Going forward, Prof. Yossi Maaravi co-founded the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, strengthening the university’s mission to deliver innovation and practical experience to entrepreneurs.

More than a decade forward, hundreds of startups emerged from Reichman University, and the opportunity to build a venture capital fund connected to the university came along. In 2023, Dr. Maaravi initiated RUNI Ventures, an early-stage fund that invests in the next generation of founders.

Then, Hila Goldman-Aslan joined RUNI Ventures as Managing Partner, bringing her journey back to where it first began. She first walked the halls of Reichman University as a student, and later went on to build three startups, leading one to a successful exit and in between investing in startups and VCs.

Today, her two decades as a founder and investor shape the fund’s activity, bringing unique deal flow through deep ties across the ecosystem, alongside hands-on support for portfolio founders.
